Saving Calculator

The calculator is used to simulate annual cost/saving of
using your tumble dryer.   We assume that
each full load cycle uses 5.36kwh of energy per cycle at a cost of 30p per kwh
(£1.61 per cycle.)  The calculation does
not account for machines that use more or less energy nor does it account for
standing charges. 

Privacy Policy

What do we do with your information?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the
buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us
such as your name, address and email address. 

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your
computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with
information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may
send you emails about our store, new products from our group and other updates
from carefully selected third parties. 

Consent

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a
transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or
return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it
for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason,
like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or
provide you with an opportunity to say no. 

How do I withdraw my consent?

If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your
consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure
of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at care@careslaboratory.com

Your data protection
rights

You have certain rights under data
protection laws in relation to the personal information we hold and are using
about you. To exercise your rights, please contact care@careslaboratory.com

Your rights include asking for a
copy of the information we hold about you, having any inaccurate information we
hold about you corrected, or to request that we stop using your personal
information in a particular way.

Your under data protection laws in
relation to your personal data include:

To be informed about how we use your
personal data (the purpose of this Data Protection Notice);

To have accurate information held about
you, and to have your details updated when they are inaccurate. 

To ask us to delete your data (often called
the “right to be forgotten”). We might not always be able to delete it,
under the law there are some circumstances in which we will need to, or
are entitled to, hold on to it;

To get a copy of your personal data. A
subset of your data (limited to data that you have provided to us) is
available in a machine-readable format if required;

To object to how we use your data, and
request that we stop using it for certain purposes. There may be
circumstances where you ask us to restrict such uses of your information,
but we are entitled to refuse that request.

To withdraw your consent, where we are
using your personal information with your consent (as described above in
the ‘Consent' section above).

If we make a decision about you using
automated means, you have right to request that the decision be reviewed
by a human; and

The right to make a complaint to the
Information Commissioner (www.ico.org.uk) if you think that any of your
rights have been infringed by us.

We may request additional
information so that we can verify your identity (and to ensure your personal
information is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it).
This may include:

A colour copy of your driving licence,
birth certificate or utility bill

If your request relates to a specific
transaction with Vamoosh, evidence of that transaction (i.e. a
receipt or confirmation)

We may contact you to ask you for
further information in relation to your request to help us enact your rights in
accordance with the law.

We try to respond to all
legitimate requests within one month. However, occasionally it may take us
longer than a month if your request is particularly complicated or you have
made a number of requests. In such circumstances, we will notify you.

Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the
online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to
you. 

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases
and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server
behind a firewall.

Payment:

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your
purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through
the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase
transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your
purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction
information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by
PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint
effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. 

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit
card information by our store and its service providers.

Third Party Services

In general, the third-party
providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to
the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and
other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in
respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your
purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you
can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by
these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have
facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So
if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a
third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the
laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities
are located.

When you click on links on our
store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the
privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy
statements.

Security

To protect your personal
information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices
to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed,
altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is
encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256
encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic
storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement
additional generally accepted industry standards.

Cookies

Here is a list of cookies that we use. We’ve listed them here so
you that you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not.

 _session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to
store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).

 _shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes
from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to
record the number of visits

 _shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to
the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a
single customer.

cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information
about the contents of your cart.

 _secure_session_id, unique token, sessional

 storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop
has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.

Personal Information we
collect


When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about
your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time
zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally,
as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages
or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the
Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this
automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often
include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and

- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including
your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages,
and date/time stamps.

- “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record
information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the
Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing
address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers,
email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order
Information.”



When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are
talking both about Device Information and Order Information.


How do we use your personal information?


We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders
placed through the Site (including processing your payment information,
arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order
confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Communicate with you;

Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with
information or advertising relating to our products or services.



We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential
risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve
and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our
customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our
marketing and advertising campaigns).  We also may use your data for
purposes of retargeting and advertising. 

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your
Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this
information.


Sharing your personal information


We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your
Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use Shopify to power
our online store--you can read more about how Shopify uses your Personal

Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site--you can read

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with
targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of

Changes to this Privacy Policy We reserve the right to modify
this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and
clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has
been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use
it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our
store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be
transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
